About
Our story
From the first truck roll to today—same focus: radon done right. If you are new to the topic, our FAQ walks through levels, Illinois licensing, and what mitigation involves.
Central Illinois Radon was founded in 2013 with a straightforward mission: give homeowners, builders, and businesses across Central Illinois reliable, code-compliant, professionally designed radon mitigation systems. From day one we have stayed family owned—built on craftsmanship, honest communication, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
Over the past decade we have grown into one of the region’s most trusted mitigation specialists, completing thousands of systems in homes, multifamily properties, schools, and commercial buildings. Our reputation comes from deep technical expertise and a deliberate focus: radon mitigation, crawlspace encapsulation where it supports soil-gas control, and repairs to existing systems—so field details stay sharp instead of being split across unrelated trades.
We are fully licensed through the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and certified through the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP), meeting rigorous state and national standards. Ongoing annual continuing education keeps our field practices aligned with current codes, best practices, and ANSI/AARST guidance.
We carry full insurance for residential and commercial work—peace of mind for homeowners, contractors, and property managers. As a Better Business Bureau member, we maintain a strong record for professionalism, transparency, and customer care.
Every system we install is backed by a 5-year warranty. Every project starts with a free on-site estimate so you can compare options with clarity before work is scheduled.
Why it matters
One trade, start to finish
Soil gas behaves differently under every slab and crawlspace. When radon and crawlspace soil-gas work are what you do every day, details—suction points, routing, sealing, and post-install verification—stay front and center instead of getting rushed between unrelated jobs.
- Written scopes and labeled photos so you know what was in place before we changed it.
- Residential, multifamily, school, and commercial experience across Central Illinois.
- Documentation ready when insurers, lenders, or inspectors ask for it.
